Photocatalysis is a natural phenome, in which a substance uses the light energy (natural or artificial) to eliminate the contaminating and damaging compounds.

In the presence of air and light, the oxidation process is activated that decomposes the organic substances organic and inorganic, contaminating that takes contact with the Photocatalytic surface.

Thanks to these process, our products, applied building and housing outdoors and indoors, present the following PROPERTIES, in a PERMANENT WAY:

Photocatalytic surfaces present spectacular results in reduction of the contaminating load in the building interior. In the attached schema, the auto cleaning process of a Photocatalyic surface can be seen related to a normal wall. After being both stained by a coloring (Rodamine B), after only 60 exposure to light hours, the Photocatalytic surface recovers its original whiteness.


The Photocatalytic surfaces prevent the microorganism growth and they do not let accumulation of substances that feed them. Therefore, they are very efficient in front of the aggression of bacteria, fungi and microorganism in general.
